Christmas Lights – Winning Homes

Christmas Lights – Winning Homes

Again as in years past, our Hayfield Elves met to take notice of our Holiday lights. Dozens of displays were observed, magnificent in their diversity and beauty. With a nod to the beauty of each display, an elf left a small gift at the door. Below are the homes that were awarded this year by our Hayfield Holiday Elves, approved by Santa and Mrs. Santa themselves.  Some (not all) houses are pictured below, enjoy!

5912 Bing Ct., 5923 Bond Ct., 7707 Hayfield Rd., 7716 Hayfield Rd., 7801 Kincardine Ct., 7802 Kincardine Ct., 7803 Suffolk Ct., 7824 Welch Ct., 7821 Welch Ct., 5731 Buckhaven Ct., 5904 Farland Ct., 7628 Crawford Ct., 5702 Buckingham Palace Ct., 5622 Broadmoor St., 7622 Crawford Ct., 7620 Crawford Ct.

Thank you to everyone else who also put up their lights and helped bring the holiday cheer!  Just a reminder that homes can only win once every 5 years.

Neighborhood Watch Member of the Month – Ben Charboneau

Neighborhood Watch Member of the Month – Ben Charboneau

The Hayfield Citizens Association Neighborhood Watch is pleased to announce this month’s Watch Member of the Month.  This is recognition of the individuals in our community who dedicate their time and effort to keep our community safe.

This month’s Neighborhood Watch Member of the Month is Ben Charboneau.  Ben moved to Hayfield Farm in 2012 and lives on Hayfield Road.  When asked “Why Did You Join the Watch”? he answered:

We’re staying in Hayfield because of the community. I’m convinced it’s the most special neighborhood we’ll ever see. Our people in our neighborhood are outstanding, and our institutions help bring out the best in all of us: The pool and the park, the Halloween and Homecoming parades, the yard sales, Neighborhood Watch, and so many others that have also existed for a long time. Our neighbors keep these alive. They volunteer to keep these alive because they love this community. Our community created the Neighborhood Watch in 1978, and continues running today by some of the same devoted Hayfield residents, many original owners. When I learned the history of the Neighborhood Watch, and met the outstanding people who contribute, I decided it was the right organization for me to give back to Hayfield.
